City of Maryland Heights Government – Tree Resource Improvement and Maintenance (TRIM)
0Comments

We love our trees in Maryland Heights, and thanks to a grant, we’ve been able to take even better care of our urban forest!

The City, through a Tree Resource Improvement and Maintenance (TRIM) grant awarded by the Missouri Department of Conservation, has hired Davey Resource Group to update the inventory and condition of over 5,000 street trees and approximately 2,000 trees in the City’s parks. A tree management plan will also be developed by Davey Resource Group.

This updated information and the management plan will assist the Public Works Operations Division and the Parks Maintenance staff in maintaining the city’s urban forest. A healthy urban forest helps clean the air, cool the city and improves lifestyles for all of our residents.
