Truman Falls In Game Three, Game Four To Be Resumed Sunday

Truman State baseball dropped game one of the second doubleheader against Rockhurst 5-3 and play of the second game was halted in the top of the fourth with the Hawks leading 7-6.

Truman scored first in game one with a Luke Turner RBI single scoring Tal Dean.

Rockhurst scored four runs in the second and third off a two-RBI and a sacrifice fly.

The Bulldogs attempted to comeback, with Tal Dean walking with the bases loaded, and Luke Turner getting hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, but it was not enough and lost 5-3.

Luke Turner went 1-3 with two RBI.

Tal Dean went 1-3 with an RBI, run, and a double.

Simon Murray went 2-3 at the plate.

The second game will be resumed this Sunday, March 19th, at a time to be determined. The Bulldogs trail 7-6.
