FEMA continues to check on residents impacted by the July 25-28 flooding. Yesterday, we followed canvassers as they went door-to-door in University City to make sure residents knew how to register for federal aid and answered questions about the process.
FEMA has approved more than $29.3 million in grants for renters and homeowners in our region. The deadline to apply is just one month away on Oct. 7.
