The Maryland Heights Police Department is aware of the scam targeting our Facebook followers. These scams encourage our followers to purchase clothing items with our department's logo.
WE ARE NOT SELLING THESE! THESE COMPANIES DO NOT HAVE THE PERMISSION TO USE OUR LOGO!
They continue to use many FAKE PROFILES and change their profile picture and names once they are reported.
DO NOT click on the links! If you see a link in the comment section of our post advertising merchandise for our police department, it is not legitimate.
Please report it as spam and DO NOT engage with these FAKE PROFILES!
