On Friday, Feb. 14, former McCluer North High School standout Markell Dixon’s current college team, the Drury Panthers, won 9-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Missouri State Lions.

The game took place at Mark Worley Field at Meador Park. This was their second matchup against the Lions this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at Mark Worley Field at Meador Park against Grand Valley State Lakers.
