The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team, ranked 19th nationally, placed 12th at the DBU Classic held at Oakmont Golf Club in Corinth, Texas. The tournament was reduced to 36 holes due to rain that affected play on Monday.

Hillary Currier led the Tritons with a total score of 147 (76-71), tying for 25th place individually. Wilma Zanderau followed closely with a score of 148 (74-74), tying for 31st. Both Mayan Covarrubias and Emmy Wahl finished with scores of 153, while Hope Williams completed the event with a score of 157 (78-79).

DBU's Madison Ude secured the individual title with a score of 135 (68-67), finishing four shots ahead of North Georgia's Cora Mount. The Patriots also won the team championship with a combined score of 566 (284-282). UT Tyler and Rogers State rounded out the top three teams.

UMSL will next compete at the Beall Fall Classic at Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio, scheduled for October 6-7.
