Missouri St. Louis men’s golf sits ninth after opening day at National Preview

The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team is in ninth place after the first day of the National Preview at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. The Tritons finished Monday with a combined score of 570, recording rounds of 285 in both sessions.

Ludvig Granlund, who competed as an individual for UMSL, posted the team's best result with a total score of 140 (71-69), placing him 16th overall. Trigg Lindahl followed closely with a score of 141 (69-72), putting him in 18th place. Dani Solavera finished the day at 142 (72-70) and stands in 28th position.

Logan Mayo completed both rounds at even par for a total of 144. Leo Baudry and Benjamin Berger are tied for 52nd, each scoring 146; Baudry shot rounds of 72 and 74, while Berger recorded scores of 75 and 71.

Chico State's Ben Mouser leads all individuals after two rounds with a score of 134 (67-67). He holds a one-shot lead over Seth Bearden from Midwestern State. Chico State also leads the team standings with a total score of 547.

The final round is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Central Daylight Time on Tuesday at Boulder Creek Golf Club.
