The University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL) Tritons have a full schedule of athletic events for the week of October 13 to 19, 2025.
On Monday and Tuesday, the No. 19 women's golf team will compete at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial in Dahlonega, Georgia, while the No. 22 men's golf team participates in the Doc Spragg Invitational in Findlay, Ohio.
Friday’s events include volleyball matches against Hillsdale and Davenport in Hammond, Indiana. The women’s soccer team will play at UIndy in Indianapolis at 4 p.m. CDT, followed by the men’s soccer match against UIndy at 6:30 p.m. CDT.
Saturday features a volleyball appearance at the Midwest Region Crossover in Hammond, Indiana. On Sunday, women’s and men’s soccer teams face Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois, with matches starting at noon and 2:30 p.m., respectively. Both men’s and women’s tennis teams will host Missouri Valley at Dwight Davis Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon.
In last week’s competitions, UMSL teams posted several strong results:
- The No. 22 men’s golf team finished fifth out of seventeen teams with an overall score of 844 at the National Preview in Boulder City, Nevada. Dani Solavera tied for eleventh place individually with a total score of 209.
- The No. 19 women’s golf squad placed sixth out of sixteen teams with a score of 930 during the Beall Fall Classic in Findlay, Ohio. Wilma Zanderau secured ninth place with a total score of 228.
- The volleyball team extended its winning streak to six games after victories over Upper Iowa and Truman State last weekend; Maggie Johnson had thirty-five kills across both matches.
- Men’s soccer ended last week unbeaten (1-0-1), drawing against McKendree and defeating Illinois Springfield two-nil; Jack Franklin made eight saves during these contests.
- Women’s soccer recorded one win and one loss: they beat McKendree one-nil before seeing their seven-game unbeaten run end with a one-nil defeat to Illinois Springfield; Maddie Clark scored Friday night’s game-winner.
- In cross country action at Hannibal-LaGrange Trojan Invitational on Saturday, UMSL men won their event led by Will Kaempfe—his third individual win this season—while three Triton women placed among the top fifteen finishers under Hannah Richardson's lead (seventh overall).
- In tennis action Friday afternoon against Maryville at Dwight Davis Tennis Center: men's tennis lost five-two but Daniel Berdecio and Henry Roberts claimed singles wins for UMSL; women's tennis swept Maryville seven-zero with Hannah Tse winning both her matches.
