Missouri St. Louis women’s golf ties for ninth at LeeAnn Noble Memorial

The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team, ranked No. 19 nationally, finished tied for ninth place at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial tournament held at Achasta Golf Course in Dahlonega, Georgia. The team recorded a total score of 887 over three rounds with individual round scores of 303, 286, and 298.

Hillary Currier and Wilma Zanderau led UMSL in the final round, each posting a score of 71. Currier ended the tournament tied for 11th overall with a cumulative score of 215 (77-67-71), while Zanderau finished tied for 22nd at 219 (77-71-71). Emmy Wahl placed tied for 42nd with a total of 224 (73-73-78).

Other contributors included Mayan Covarrubias, who shot a combined score of 231 (76-77-78), and Hope Williams, who finished at 246 (85-75-86).

Anderson University's Olivia Pellerin claimed individual honors with a final score of 206 (68-68-70), finishing two strokes ahead of Wingate's Olivia Meinecke. Wingate University secured the team championship with an overall score of 849.

UMSL will conclude its fall season by competing at the Intercollegiate at Nemacolin next week at Mystic Rock Golf Club in Farmington, Pennsylvania.
