Logan Mayo, Player | Missouri St. Louis Tritons
University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golfer Logan Mayo has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Men's Golf Player of the Week, according to an announcement from the league office on Wednesday.
Mayo, a sophomore from Springdale, Arkansas, competed in the Doc Spragg Invitational held October 13-14. He tied for fifth place in a field of 90 golfers, posting scores of 69, 71, and 74 for a total of 214, two strokes under par. His performance contributed to the Tritons finishing tied for first in the team standings. The team ultimately placed second after falling to host school Findlay in a two-hole playoff.
This is Mayo's first career Player of the Week award. The last Tritons golfer to receive the honor was Dani Solavera on September 3, 2025.
The Tritons are scheduled to compete next at the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate at the Waikoloa Golf Resort in Waikoloa Village, Hawai'i, on October 20 and 21.
