University of Missouri-St. Louis senior Caitlin Bishop has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Setter of the Week for the third consecutive week, according to an announcement from the conference office on Monday. This recognition marks her fifth such honor this season and the 20th of her collegiate career.
Bishop, a nursing major from Lansing, Kansas, played a key role in leading her team to three wins: 3-1 victories over Hillsdale and Davenport on October 17, and another 3-1 win against Wayne State on October 18. Over these matches, she recorded 135 assists (an average of 12.27 per set), along with 37 digs (3.36 per set), three kills, and two service aces. Her performance also earned her a place on the Midwest Region Crossover All-Tournament Team.
Her standout game came against Hillsdale, where she contributed 50 assists and added 17 digs.
This latest award brings Bishop’s career total to 20 Setter of the Week honors. Previous dates when she received this recognition include: "10/13/25, 10/6/25, 9/15/25, 9/8/25, 11/18/24, 11/4/24, 10/21/24, 10/14/24, 9/30/24, 9/23/24, 9/9/24, 11/13/23, 11/6/23, 10/30/23, 10/23/23, 10/16/23, 10/9/23, 9/25/23, [and] 9/18/23."
The Tritons will return home on Friday (October 24) to host Missouri S&T at the Mark Twain Building at 6 p.m.
