This week, the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL) Tritons athletics teams have a full schedule of competitions across several sports.
On Monday and Tuesday, the No. 23 women's golf team will compete at the Intercollegiate at Nemacolin in Farmington, Pennsylvania, while the No. 22 men's golf team participates in the Dennis Rose Invitational in Waikoloa Village, Hawaii.
Friday's events include the men's golf team taking part in the HPU Sharks Shootout in Aiea, Hawaii. The women's soccer team will host Upper Iowa at Don Dallas Field at 12:30 p.m., followed by the men's soccer match against Upper Iowa at 3 p.m. Volleyball faces Missouri S&T at 6 p.m. in the Mark Twain Building.
Saturday features both cross country teams competing in the GLVC Championships in Romeoville, Illinois. The men's golf team continues play at the HPU Sharks Shootout. At home, swimming hosts William Jewell at 2 p.m., and volleyball plays Maryville at 3 p.m.
Sunday wraps up with women's soccer hosting Quincy at noon and men's soccer facing Quincy at 2:30 p.m., both matches held on Don Dallas Field.
In recent results, the No. 22 men’s golf team finished second at the Doc Spragg Invitational after a two-hole playoff loss to Findlay last week. Logan Mayo and Trigg Lindahl were named to the All-Tournament team; Mayo also earned GLVC Men's Golf Player of the Week honors.
The women’s golf team tied for ninth out of sixteen teams at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial in Dahlonega, Georgia. Hillary Currier tied for eleventh place overall and was named GLVC Women's Golf Player of the Week.
The volleyball squad achieved three wins over the weekend during competition at the Midwest Region Crossover in Hammond, Indiana. Alayna Santel and Caitlin Bishop were selected for the All-Tournament team.
Women’s soccer recovered from their first conference defeat by posting consecutive 3-0 road victories last weekend. Rylee Griffith recorded eight saves across both games for her sixth and seventh shutouts this season.
Men’s soccer split its matches over the weekend—defeating UIndy 3-2 on Friday with Isaac Valverde scoring a decisive goal late in regulation before falling to Lewis University on Saturday.
Men’s tennis concluded its fall schedule with a 6-1 win against Missouri Valley on Sunday afternoon, led by Percy Siercke who went undefeated in singles and doubles play.
