The University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) has achieved recognition for its academic performance in athletics, with 13 teams receiving the Team Academic All-Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) award for the 2024-25 academic year. The announcement was made by the league office on June 23.

The GLVC honors teams from member institutions that maintain a grade point average of at least 3.30 over the academic year. This year, a total of 189 men's and women's teams across the league were recognized.

UMSL's honored teams include women's tennis (3.710), women's basketball (3.647), men's tennis (3.643), softball (3.619), volleyball (3.525), women's soccer (3.507), men's golf (3.506), women's swimming (3.482), men's track and field (3.465), men's cross country (3.452), men's swimming (3.450), women's golf (3.370), and baseball (3.308).

In this year's awards, 14 league members had ten or more teams achieving a GPA of 3.30 or higher, surpassing the previous record of 13 set in the 2019-20 season. Rockhurst University led with 18 sports meeting this standard.

Of the total programs honored, 101 were from women's sports and 88 from men's sports.

Notably, all teams in women's swimming and diving surpassed the 3.30 GPA mark, while other sports such as men's golf, women's lacrosse, softball, men's soccer, men's tennis, and women's tennis had all but one program meet the threshold; similarly, women's basketball, men's cross country, women's cross country, women's golf, women's soccer, and volleyball had all but two programs receive recognition.
