The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team has been awarded the 2024-25 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award. This marks the 15th time UMSL has received this honor since its inception in 1992-93, and it is the 11th consecutive year under head coach Ryan Young, who recently completed his 14th season.

The Tritons concluded the academic year with a cumulative grade point average of 3.52. On the court, they finished the 2024 season with a record of 19-9, securing spots in both the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament and their fifth consecutive NCAA Tournament. Caitlin Bishop was recognized as an AVCA All-America honorable mention, while Alayna Santel earned the title of AVCA Midwest Region Freshman of the Year.
