The University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) baseball team has been recognized with the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, as announced by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) on July 23. This award, presented by Sports Attack, is given to collegiate or high school baseball teams that achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 for the academic year.

Under the leadership of head coach Scott Eul, UMSL's baseball team achieved a GPA of 3.30 for the 2024-25 school year.

Teams were eligible for nomination after completing their spring semesters and had until July 18 to submit their nominations. The criteria for receiving this honor include being a high school or college team, having a head coach who is an active ABCA member, and maintaining at least a 3.00 cumulative GPA on a 4.00 scale without rounding up during the academic year.

The ABCA has a longstanding tradition of acknowledging the accomplishments of baseball coaches and student-athletes through various awards programs since its founding in 1949.
