Missouri St. Louis men’s golf in third after day one at Dennis Rose Intercollegiate

The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team is in third place after the first two rounds of the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate, held at Waikoloa Golf Resort in Hawaii. The Tritons posted a combined score of 583 over 36 holes, with individual rounds of 292 and 291.

Logan Mayo led the team and is tied for first overall with a score of 139, recording rounds of 69 and 70. "Mayo is tied with Hawaii-Hilo's Dylan Bercan and they're two shots ahead of CSU Monterey Bay's Alexander Cooke," according to tournament results.

Other contributors for UMSL include Dani Solavera, who is tied for 13th at 146 after shooting rounds of 75 and 71. Benjamin Berger sits tied for 23rd with a total score of 150 (75-75). Leo Baudry and Trigg Lindahl are both tied for 26th, each posting scores of 151; Baudry shot rounds of 76 and 75 while Lindahl carded a morning round of 73 followed by a 78 in the afternoon.

CSU Monterey Bay leads the team standings with a total score of 577 after posting rounds of 285 and 292.

The final round will begin Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. CDT.
