Truman State baseball lost the fourth and final game of the series against Rockhurst 7-6. The game was stopped in the third inning on Thursday, March 16th, and resumed play March 19th at 2 p.m.
All 13 runs combined were scored on Thursday, with Rockhurst jumping out to a 3-0 lead after the second inning.
The Bulldogs scored five in the second to take a 5-3 lead off a Simon Murray two-RBI single, Grant Beck scoring on an error, Murray scoring on a Holden Missey walk, and Tal Dean scoring on a Dylan Thompson walk.
Rockhurst tacked on three more in the third to make it 7-5 Hawks before Luke Turner scored Grant Beck to bring it to the 7-6 final score.
Simon Murray went 1-2 at the plate with two RBI and a run.
Dakota Spicer recorded two hits, and Tal Dean, Will Fromm, and Grant Beck each had a hit in the game.
Isaac Epp threw three innings, giving up no runs and only one hit. Tucker Olson, Epp, Brian Bruxvoort, Zachry Schneider, and Michael Daggett all had scoreless appearances.
Truman baseball is now 11-10 on the season and play at Quincy next on 3/24-3/26.
