University of Missouri-St. Louis senior middle hitter Iyannah Jackson has been named the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division II National Player of the Week. The announcement was made Tuesday from Lexington, Kentucky.

Jackson becomes only the second player in the history of the program to receive this recognition, following Kaileen Herman who earned it during the Spring 2021 season.

According to recent statistics, Jackson was also selected as the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Offensive Player of the Week. She averaged 5.13 points, 4.63 kills, and 0.88 blocks per set while achieving a .557 hitting percentage over eight sets played. Notably, she recorded a career-high 24 kills in a match against Maryville on Saturday afternoon.

The Tritons will continue their season with upcoming road matches at UIndy and Lewis, marking their final two away games of the regular season.
