The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team concluded its 2025 season with a 4-3 defeat against William Jewell College on Sunday afternoon in Liberty, Missouri. The match was held at the William Jewell Soccer/Lacrosse Field.

UMSL finished the year with an overall record of 5-6-6 and a conference record of 4-5-5 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC). William Jewell ended its season at 3-10-4 overall and 2-8-4 in GLVC play.

The Tritons took an early lead when Kyler Sorber scored his first goal of the season in the 24th minute. William Jewell responded six minutes later with Elliot Labeth’s fifth goal of the year to tie the match.

In the second half, Henry Staebell gave William Jewell a 2-1 advantage just over two minutes after play resumed. The Cardinals increased their lead to 3-1 when Caua Ensciemento converted a penalty kick.

UMSL narrowed the gap with Roman Ryabchenko scoring in the 57th minute. Later, Alexander Ramirez Aoueiss equalized for UMSL with a goal from outside the penalty area in the 84th minute.

William Jewell secured victory less than one minute before regulation ended as Ensciemento scored his second goal of the game.

UMSL had more attempts on offense, outshooting William Jewell by a margin of 16 to 9 and recording ten shots on target compared to six by their opponent.
