The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team has been named among the teams under consideration in the first NCAA Division II Regional Rankings of the season, which were released Wednesday. The Tritons are one of 10 programs from the Midwest Region to appear on this initial list.

Unlike previous years, this first round of rankings presents teams in alphabetical order only. The actual ranked order will be published next week. The final selections for the 64-team NCAA Division II Championship field—including eight teams from each region—will be announced on November 24 on NCAA.com.

The Tritons aim to secure their sixth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament and their seventh since 2010.

Other Midwest Region contenders include Cedarville, Ferris State, Findlay, Grand Valley State, Ohio Dominican, Quincy, Rockhurst, UIndy, and Wayne State (Mich.), with records reflecting games played through November 2.
