Missouri-St. Louis golfer Logan Mayo named GLVC men’s golf player of the week again

University of Missouri-St. Louis sophomore golfer Logan Mayo has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Men's Golf Player of the Week for a second consecutive week, according to an announcement from the league office on Thursday. This marks the second Player of the Week award in Mayo's collegiate career.

Mayo, who is currently undeclared in his major and hails from Springdale, Arkansas, competed for Missouri-St. Louis at the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate held October 20-21. The Tritons finished fourth out of ten teams with scores of 292-291-311 for a total of 894. Mayo tied for second place among 59 golfers, recording rounds of 69, 70, and 77 for an even-par total score of 216.

He led all players in par-4 scoring average (4.10) and total pars (42) during the tournament.

"Earns second career Player of the Week Award (10/15/25)," according to the conference announcement.

The previous Tritons player to receive this honor was also Mayo on October 15, 2025.

Missouri-St. Louis will wrap up its fall season this Friday and Saturday at the Southwest Airlines HPU Shark Shootout at Pearl at Kalauao Golf Course in Aiea, Hawaii.
